Finding internet sites that do reviews of products is easy - simply do a search and you will be presented with thousands, if not millions of sites. Finding sites that are usefull and have value is however a different matter altogether. We try to give you the pros and cons of the best cameras and camcorders that are out there on the market today.
Having said that, let's have a look at the criteria that make a review site worthwhile:
- The speficic product must be easy to find.
- Reviews must be done by people that know what they are talking about, preferably people that have used the product themselves.
Publishing a site that meets the criteria mentioned above is not as easy as it might seem at first glance. I am trying to develop this site with reviews for cameras and camcorders, but it is virtually impossible for me to use every conceivable camera and / or camcorder out there. Furthermore, my idea of a site that is easy to use and makes it easy to find a specific product might in reality not be tha same for other users.

One way to search for and decide on any camera anad camcorder equipment is to look at Amazon's best seller lists. This has the huge advantage of the products having numerous reviews. Amazon also averages these reviews and gives you an overall star rating. This makes it very easy to , at a glance, determine which products get the best overall reviews.
In order to make it easier for you to find the top cameras and camcorders, we have added various new categories to the site. All posts will be classified accordingly so that finding the top products becomes a breeze.

My teenage daughter is really into photography at the moment and we are thinking of buying her a digital camera for her birthday. A digital SLR might be a bit over the top as one never knows if this is only a phase she is going trhough and six months later she has forgotten all about it
